
COLE Theresa A. Szurko Theresa A. Cole, age 41, of Erie, MI, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2011, at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo. She was born on December 26, 1969, in Toledo, OH. Theresa was raised in Sylvania, OH, attending Maplewood Elementary School and graduating from Sylvania Northview High School in 1988. She was employed in the proof department at the downtown Toledo Fifth Third Bank for over 10 years. A devoted daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother, Theresa cherished her family and friends. She loved attending her son's baseball, basketball, and football games. An avid card player, she enjoyed playing with her countless friends. Theresa touched the lives of everyone she met, whether with her contagious smile or the way she always put others before herself. Theresa is survived by her beloved parents, Marion Szurko and Patricia Summa Ingiosi and was the devoted and loving wife of Raymond Cole. Theresa also leaves to cherish her memory: loving children, Hunter Cole, Crystal (Thomas) Stegill and Angel (Dustin) Szczecinski. Theresa will forever be remembered by her devoted brothers, Michael (Kelly) Szurko and children, Michael and Molly, Steven Szurko and children, Amanda, Desiree, Lauren, Steven, and Samantha; treasured grandchildren, Savanah Dobson, Jacob Zunk, Jaalin and Brooklyn Stegill, and Devon and Ayla Szczecinski; caring in-laws, Donald Cole Sr., Donald Cole Jr., Tracy (Sheila) Cole, Scott Cole, and Candyce Cole (Neal) Howard; along with many nieces and nephews and countless friends whom were blessed to know her. Theresa was always effortlessly kind and generous, and now, as an organ donor, she will continue her generosity by sharing the gift of life. We know our Theresa was an angel on earth and now is an angel in heaven. Visitation will be Saturday, July 16, from 12-3:30 p.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114-128 E. Alexis Rd. Funeral Services will be at 3:30 p.m. with Pastor Larry Vriezlaar presiding.
